Brush for Grass Painting and Spot Blending – Developed for Background Art

In response to requests from background artists, we began developing a new brush specifically designed for painting grass.
At the same time, we aimed to make it suitable for spot blending and gradient work, similar to how a Kara brush is used.

This brush was carefully designed so that the tip naturally forms jagged edges, making it easier to express grass textures.
Its long 30mm hair length allows the brush tip to spread wide, enabling a variety of grass patterns depending on how it's opened and used.

Beyond painting grass and spot blending, this brush is also excellent for creating soft, cloudy effects and other atmospheric touches.
We hope this brush will make background painting in animation not only easier—but more enjoyable.

All of our animation brushes and tools are tested using materials commonly employed in professional background production, including New TMK Poster Extra Thick paper (Muse) and poster colors (Nicker).
